We describe a combined experimental approach to the study of wave deformational processes generated in the multilayer plates consisted of layers with drastically different dynamical properties under an impact indentation of sharpened dies. We use an impact test unit which gives us an opportunity to estimate the dynamical parameters of both the individual layers and the assembled pack. Particularly, we study a multilayer glass-polymeric composition assembled from layers of silicate glass, glue strata, and thin polymeric oriented films. We present some results of dynamical testing of glass-silicon samples and multicomponent systems.
