The effect of the axial force on the frequency of axial vibration of lattice composite payload attach fitting

Abstract:

The paper is concerned with the vibration problem for the lattice composite attach fitting (adapter) which provides the interface between the spacecraft and the rocket launcher and has the form of a cylindrical shell consisting of helical and circumferential ribs made of unidirectional carbon-epoxy composite material by filament winding. The effect of the axial compressive force on the adapter axial vibration is considered.
