The differential equation for the continuation of the load parameter to describe the change of the stress-strain state of the wires overhead transmission line

Abstract:

Calculation of static states of wires, ropes and cables is an important part of the design or modernization of overhead transmission lines (VL). The calculation is performed at different operational modes of the HV work, taking into account the actual climatic conditions. The results of the calculations are evaluating stress on the wires and the support, the calculation of quantities and sag tension wires, which ultimately determines the mechanical strength and life line, its cost and operational safety. The paper analyzes the generally accepted methodology for calculating regulatory static states of the HV wire anchoring sites using the basic equation of state. A new approach to describe the changes in the stress-strain state of the wires based on the use of the method of continuation by the generalized parameter of the problem. Dan’s formulation of the problem in differential form, which effectively without time consuming calculations to analyze the possible states of the wires, taking into account a large number of constraints, which are regulated by the regulatory framework, adopted in the energy sector. Consider two examples from the practice of calculation of static states anchor portions of the HV. The comparative calculations using traditional methodologies and differential approach proposed in this paper.
