The results of the study of the mechanical properties of the skin changes – the most important multi-layer composite system of natural origin – under the influence of mechanical action arising from the use of different methods of postoperative physiotherapy effects. The study was carried out by low-frequency acoustic method to monitor the recovery of mechanical anisotropy inherent in healthy skin. The high informativeness of mechanical characteristics of the skin, investigated using acoustic analyzer ASA, for the comparative evaluation of the effectiveness of physiotherapy effects techniques used to relieve swelling in the facial tissues, unavoidable in plastic surgery. The results obtained in this paper are complementary data to assess the effectiveness of the use of composite materials with biological activity in soft tissue prostheses, cosmetic surgery, and biomechanical studies conducted by medical organizations in conjunction with the Institute.
