The results of studies of application of low-molecular polymers based on waste products of petrochemistry for stabilization of shape of wooden articles are presented. We study the physical-chemical properties of polymeric materials and impregnants. Using the methods of design of experiments and mathematical statistics, we determine the most efficient technological parameters of modification of pine timber. We establish the regimes of timber treatment, which provide high stability of dimensions under variable humidity of the environment and improve other physical-chemical characteristics of timber.
