Along with right-angled panels, skew-angled panels are in considerable use in aviation structural elements, for example, in sweepback and sweepforward airfoils. Most of publications are devoted to isotropic and orthotropic layered and homogeneous right-angled panels loaded in their plane by normal and tangential forces. There are no publications devoted to panels of other shapes. The authors studying problems of stability and problems of eigenoscillations of skew-angled panels consider the bending rigidities in an orthogonal system of co-ordinates while the flexure displacement in an oblique frame. Using this approach, we have no opportunity to study problems considering the influence of reinforcement pattern of composite layers into limit values of forces in panels especially in the cases when the angles of reinforcement are stated with respect to an axis of arbitrary direction. Problems of stability of layered composite skew-angled panels under compression and shear loading are considered in the present paper.
