Simulation of reactive stress evolution during inverse phase transition in beam from shape memory alloys

Abstract:

In framework of different variants of model of non-linear deformation of shape memory alloys (SMA) at phase and (or) structure transformation the analytical solution is found for problem of reactive stress evolution in constrained beam from SMA during inverse thermo-elastic martensite phase transition after premature direct transformation under an action of constant stress.
