Peculiarities of porous structures of carbon-carbon composite materials

Abstract:

We determine the characteristics of elementary pores and their orifices of different spatial configurations of reinforcing frameworks made of carbon-carbon composite materials. We present the visualized models of elementary pores of carbonic frameworks based on cylindrical rods. A comparative analysis of porous space of frameworks is done to estimate its accessibility for impregnates with dispersed phase of alloying elements and without it. Frameworks of 4D type for manufacturing the materials with high performance characteristics hold much promise.
