Numerical simulation of stress-strain state of filament filled polymeric composites under loading up to the moment of destruction

Abstract:

We present the results of numerical investigations of mechanical behavior of filament filled polymeric composites subjected to loading up to destruction. We consider the elastic-plastic and viscous-elastic models. The analysis of the stress-strain state and limit properties of the samples of composite materials shows that such simulation allows us to get a sufficiently complete and reliable information about the state and behavior of filament filled polymeric composites subjected to loading up to destruction.
