Nonlinear behavior of composite materials

Abstract:

We examine the effects of nonlinear deformation of composite materials under static and cyclic loading and construct the governing relations that describe the behavior of anisotropic composite materials and account for the effects of heteromodularity in reversing loading, plasticity, damage accumulation, hysteresis, and vibrational heating during cyclic loading.
