Inlet flows of fluid linear polymers in the 4:1 channel

Abstract:

We present the results of computational simulation for inlet flows of nonlinear viscoelastic fluids. We employ a modified variant of the Pokrovsky-Vinogradov model. The results obtained testify that the model used depicts real systems adequately. Consequently, these results point to the fact that the mesoscopic approach could be successfully used for development of the theory of relaxation processes in deformable polymer structures.
