We present the results of experimental studies of impact resistance of covers of different composition for shield protection (of the MOD type) of spacecraft vehicles against meteorites and fragments of other spacecrafts. The efficiency of the screens is estimated via variation of integral impact resistance of composite multilayer cover. The most prospective schemes of covers are determined and their comparative analysis is presented.
