Influence of elastic and plastic anisotropy of a material on calculation results of shock loading of aluminum barrier

Abstract:

The work deals with the influence on the results of numerical simulation of shock loading of aluminium barrier with the steel deformable striker of the elastic and plastic anisotropy of the barrier material. The results of the calculations are obtained with the finite element method in a three-dimensional arrangement. The elastic and plastic anisotropy of a material is proved to be displayed to a variable degree depending on kinematic and geometrical parameters of loading.
