We develop a method for determination of stress-strain sate of wall panels for a variety of curvilinear structures of reinforcement. The method proposed may be employed to obtain the values of critical loads for a reinforced plate with an elliptic hole. We obtain the values of critical loads dependent on the type of reinforcement used and the location of the hole. It is shown that the type of reinforcement affects the critical values of loads and the displacements of a reinforced plate with an elliptic hole under uniformly distributed loading. Employing appropriate reinforcement, we can redistribute stress and strain fields such that the zones of generation of cracks move at safe regions.
