This article discusses formation of residual stresses in process of manufacture of axisymmetric rod metalware with anisotropy of properties. It is made the estimation of influence of residual stresses on durability of anisotropic axisymmetric rod products. A method is presented on the basis of the power approach for definition ultimate rod metalware cobbing in process of plastic forming of the anisotropic material. The presented method promotes to compose technological process in the optimal way and to prevent destruction of the rod metalware from residual stresses after plastic forming.
