Improvements of modern computers allow us to apply discrete-analytical methods for analysis of structures. A number of publications, where such approaches are under development, is increasing. We extend the semi-analytical finite element method to the solution of the Euler stability problems for laminated structures with delaminations. The delaminations with separation are considered. Such type of problems is usually supposed to be solved by application of different technical theories of shells (the classical and the Timoshenko-type theories prevail). It is necessary to point out that application of technical theories when solving such problems can bring us to a noticeable error.
