Application of FEM to analyze static and dynamic modes of multi-span sections of overhead lines

Abstract:

Based on the finite element method we have developed a program that enables the calculation of static stress-strain state of wires within a few spans considering the conditions in the fixing points of the suspension. To determine the estimated length of nine tread settlement modes were considered, of which the largest displacement of the wires in multiroll supporting suspension (about 1.1 m) was noted during reset of ice in the middle passage and keeping it in the outer bays.
