Acoustic analyzer study of saw propagation in homogeneous and composite models

Abstract:

We study rubber composites with the aid of an acoustic analyzer – ACA, measuring the velocity of the propagation of surface shear disturbances (surface acoustic waves), and show how the characteristics of the elements of the composite model: hardness, thickness, presence of a reinforcing component, and moisture content influence the velocity.
