Parametric description of the structure and construction of reinforced composites indicatrixes their elastic properties

Abstract:

A method for predicting the macroscopic elastic characteristics of the composite material reinforced by fibers, the material constants of the matrix material and fibers, the spatial structure and laying the fibers volume content. An arbitrary method of describing spatial reinforcement macroscopically-orthotropic composite reinforcement using six dimensionless parameters. A method for determining the effective tensor of elasticity and pliability of the composite material by the weighted geometric mean averaging limit approximations Voigt and Reuss. It illustrates the dependence of the anisotropy of the elastic characteristics of the composite reinforcement scheme and the volume content of different types of fibers.
