We discuss the method of searching for optimal regimes of the process of layerwise selective laser agglomeration (the SLA method) of volumetric products made from multicomponent powder compositions. We determine the relationships between principal parameter of the process. We present an experimental diagram of searching for these parameters based on an example of synthesis of volumetric products of simplest shapes made from metal-polymeric and bimetal compositions. We discuss the possibilities of modification of compositions of powder mixtures purposed to improvement of physical-mechanical characteristics of the products agglomerated. Based on the data obtained by the study of agglomeration of individual monolayers of previously selected weight combinations of components of powder mixtures, we can determine the regimes of agglomeration of volumetric products, which give minimal deformation and provide high productivity of the selective laser agglomeration process. We study the role of the scale factor in synthesizing of volumetric products of different area of cross section, when a scheme with deflectors is used. As a result, it is possible to infiltrate the products produced by the SLA method to decrease their roughness and to increase their strength.
