Modeling of thin-walled structures hydrodynamics in acoustic media based on thin layer’s hypothesis

Abstract:

Some thin-walled structures hydrodynamics’ problems are considered in the acoustical approximation. Shell dynamics is by the Kirchhoff-Love model described and the acoustical wave’s pressure on the wetted surface is by the thin layer hypothesis approximated. The non-steady problem’s solution is based on the eigenvectors method, when eigenvalues are for the non-wetted structure computed, so that the problem is as the integro-differential equation’s system formulated. The numerical solution of the problem of plane wave and cylindrical-spherical shell is shown.
